Bekal - Kabini and Wayanad
Itineray - 6 Nights and 7 Days Day 1 - Arrival Our representative will meet and greet you on arrival at Mangalore Airport. If time permits you can do some local sight seeing at Mangalore covering - sightseeing Sammilan Shetty’s Butterfly Park, Kudroli Gokarnath Temple, Kadri Manjunath Temple, Tannirbhavi beach. Later proceed to Bekal which will take alost 1 Hr and 30 mins drive that covers 70 kms. Check in at Vivanta by Taj Bekal, located at Kappil Beach, Kasargod Bekal. Today you will relax at the resort and enjoy the overnight stay at this premium resort. Day 2 - Bekal Today after your breakfast you will be picked up for the local sight seeing in and around Bekal, that covers Beakal Beach, Kappil Beach, Valiyaparamba backwaters, Bekal Fort, Chandragiri Fort, Nityanadashram Caves and Hosdurg Beach. Overnight stay at Vivanta Taj Bekal. Day 3 - Kannur After Breakfast proceed to Kannur 100kms 3hrs drive. On the way you can enjoy the local Sightseeing like Kannur Beach House, Fort St. Angelos, Muzhappilangad Drive-in Beach. Overnight stay at Blue Mermaid Beach Resort Thottada. Day 4 - Kannur Today you can completely relax at Blue mermaid enjoying the sea or you can go out for a local drive to visit more sight seeing points. Over night stay at Blue Mermaid Beach Resort Kannur. Day 5 - Wayanad Today morning you will have your breakfast from blue mermaid and later proceed to Wayanad via Calicut, the drive will take almot 4 hrs and you need to cover 120 kms from Kannur. This drive might be little tiring as you need to cross several hair pins to reach Wayanad. On the way you will have your lunch and later by evening you can reach your destination, Forest Retreat at Thirunelli Wayanad. Enjoy your stay at resort which is very close to the forest and you can hear the animal calls during the night time. Day 6 - Kabini We are sure you need to have so much to speak about Forest Retreat and the feel you had last night. Today you will enjoy your breakfast and proceed to Kabini which is 80 kms away from Wayanad. Kabini is the best wildlife destination you could get in Karnantaka and Kerala, the specialty is that the Kabini river starts from Wayanad, Kerala and reaches Kabini, Karanataka. The chances of animal spotting is very high during Kabini Jungle Safari, the safari will take you the Kabini Lake where you can see the animal grazing here.
